Secara kebetulan, Manchester City juga mengumumkan perpanjangan kontrak bintang mereka, Kevin De Bruyne hingga 2023.

Manchester City sempat santer diberitakan akan membajak Sanchez, tetapi batal setelah Man United memberi tawaran gaji lebih tinggi untuknya.
