Setelah Menteri Olahraganya, Giliran Kementerian Luar Negeri Malaysia Minta Maaf pada Indonesia

Kementerian Luar Negeri Malaysia meminta maaf pada seluruh rakyat Indonesia atas insiden terbaliknya bendera Indonesia di buku panduan SEA Games 2017.

Sebelum Kementerian Luar Negerinya, Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga Malaysia telah lebih dulu meminta maaf.

Bahkan pihak Kementerian Olahraga Malaysia langsung menemui Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga dari Indonesia, Imam Nahrawi.

Mungkin dengan adanya permintaan maaf resmi ini, diharapkan masalah ini akan cepat selesai tanpa melukai persahabatan kedua negara.

STATEMENT BY YB DATO' SRI ANIFAH HAJI AMAN, MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF MALAYSIA REGARDING THE INDONESIAN FLAG IN THE OFFICIAL SOUVENIR BOOK FOR THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 29TH SEA GAMES

On behalf of the Government of Malaysia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to express regret for the inadvertent error made by the Malaysian Organizing Committee (MASOC) for the wrong publication of the Indonesian flag in the official souvenir booklet of the Opening Ceremony of the 29th Sea Games, held yesterday, 19 August 2017.

Also on behalf of the Malaysian Government, we would like to extend our apology to the Government and the people of the Republic of Indonesia. In this regard, we wish to assure the Government of the Republic of Indonesia that all measures have been taken to address this unfortunate situation.
