"Klub sangat sedih untuk mengkonfirmasi laporan media bahwa saudara lelaki Serge Aurier meninggal dunia dini hari tadi," bunyi pernyataan tersebut seperti dikutip BolaSport.com dari akun twitter resmi Spurs.

"Semua orang di Klub menyampaikan belasungkawa tulus mereka kepada Serge dan keluarganya. Kami turut bersimpati," akhir pernyataan itu.
