ASEAN Cup 2024 bakal dimulai pada 8 Desember 2024.
Timnas Indonesia masuk ke dalam Grup B bersama Vietnam, Filipina, Myanmar, dan Laos.
Salah satu lawan timnas Indonesia, yakni Filipina memiliki pemain yang memperkuat klub SMA.
Pemain itu ialah Nicholas Guimaraes yang berposisi sebagai kiper.
Nicholas Guimaraes memperkuat klub sekolah Jepang, Funabashi Municipal High School.
